Overview
"Engineering Index" (Th grg d, abbreviated) was founded in 2001 and is a well-known comprehensive retrieval tool for engineering technology published by the American Engineering Information Company (grg t.). The included documents cover almost all fields of engineering technology. For example: power, electrician, electronics, automatic control, mining and metallurgy, metal technology, machinery manufacturing, management, civil engineering, water conservancy, educational engineering, etc. It has the characteristics of strong comprehensiveness, wide sources of data, wide geographical coverage, large amount of reports, high quality of reports, and strong authority.
In addition to being a retrieval tool, it is also one of the most important statistical sources for international papers and an important basis for evaluating the academic level of science and engineering colleges and engineering research institutes. Since the data in the CD-ROM version is collected across years, and the time range is not exactly the same from year to year, the number of papers counted using different start and end periods cannot accurately reflect the actual status of papers in academic units in that year. When making data, the data is not completely delivered on schedule, but the production of CD-ROMs is scheduled, so the amount of data on the CD-ROM will fluctuate.
